Our advice
Start with an independent assessment, not an installer visit.
Installers naturally sell the options they have available, so their first recommendation may reflect their product range rather than what suits your property. A retrofit assessment looks at your home as a whole – insulation, solar PV and battery storage, heat pumps – and gives you property-specific recommendations, so you can compare quotes with confidence.
How referrals work
- We talk through your goals and, where relevant, your EPC or retrofit assessment.
- With your permission, we pass your details to one or more appropriate partners.
- Partners carry out their own surveys and design, provide their own quotes, and carry out the installation. Your contract for that work is with the partner, not HENSS.
- You decide whether to proceed. There is no obligation, and you're free to use any installer.
A standalone solar PV or battery installation does not necessarily require retrofit assessment or coordination. [Partner details and vetting to be confirmed before launch.]
